What we do
We work from a little-known folio of Gurdjieff’s inner practices, typed in French and dated 1940 to 1945. Dr. Lyman obtained the folio as part of his intensive practice and research studying esoteric lineage for over 30 years.
We also work with the “sittings” that Mr. Gurdjieff transmitted to Jane Heap and Annie Lou Staveley.
Here the Work is situated as a practice lineage within the spiritual traditions: a practical method.
Why
The aim is to reveal one’s true nature, to remember oneself, and to live it in ordinary life. These practices open the inner, esoteric side of the Work.
- When: Wednesdays, 6:00 to 7:30 pm Mountain Time
- Where: Online. Write for the link.
- Open to beginners and to experienced practitioners
Dr. Lyman is an embodied meditation teacher and psychotherapist with a PhD in Wisdom Studies and Depth Psychology. He studied with the recently departed Alejandro Kahan, a student of Madame de Salzmann for 40 years. His work centers on making esoteric teaching accessible to the wider public.
